Dr. Bhupinder Walia

Dr. Walia has recruited professional team members who collectively have decades of experience in the healthcare field. Our team of former administrators, providers, and clinical support staff understand the skillful balancing act required to provide outstanding patient care while operating a successful business.

Bhupinder Walia completed his training at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, College of Medicine. After his residency, Dr. Walia worked as a Hospitalist in the Seattle area. He then transitioned to the post-acute setting, providing care to Western Washington’s geriatric population. Having navigated the complexities of post-acute medicine, Dr. Walia created Daiya Healthcare to provide compassionate care to our geriatric and rehabilitative population.

Dr. Walia was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He is an active skier, enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with his family. He enjoys linguistics, and is a polyglot. He has gained fluency in multiple languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Swahili, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. With these skills, Dr. Walia is able to connect with people from various cultures often completing medical examinations in their native language.
